The Secret to Winning the World Cup

Paul the Octopus might know who will win the World Cup, but I don’t think he knows how to win the World Cup.

I do…

Cheer for the ball.

Whoever cheers for the ball the most will win.

I bet you never knew this, but the ball needs encouragement to go in the goal. Especially this year’s ball – Jabulani.

Jabulani is Zulu for “Rejoice”, but this ball has been rejected by many because it looks different and has its own mind. Jabulani needs your joyous cheers more than ever.

I know it seems to simple, and there is no way to actually prove it works because millions and millions of people are watching this game. But a select few are cheering for the ball, and they will be the real winners.

So, rejoice like this when you watch the game tomorrow…with true meaning deep down in your heart and pure rhythm in your bones as loud as you can yell…

Let’s cheer for the ball.
It ain’t no sin.
Without that ball.
We’ll never win.
YAY BALL!
YAY BALL!
YAY!
YAY!
BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALL!!!

(And by the way, Paul the Octopus is not a true prophet. Paul the Octopus got one wrong back in 2008, so he is a false prophet. True prophets bat 1000. I still love him though.)
