I Want to Cram The Christmas Shoes…

A couple months ago I pre-ordered the book, The Gospel-Driven Life, by Michael Horton.

I was eagerly awaiting for it to arrive in the mail. But somehow the order got screwed up, and they ended up sending me this DVD.

Major let-down to say the least. I thought maybe Michael Horton was playing a joke on me. But if he were, he probably would have sent me Joel Osteen’s book, Your Best Life Now.

Anyway, I hated The Christmas Shoes song the first time I heard it, and this movie version is on the top of my least anticipated movies ever-list.

But I am so happy to say that I have somehow avoided hearing this song this entire Christmas season. I haven’t heard it once. I don’t know about Amy Grant, but my grown-up Christmas list just might be coming true!!!

And I did finally end up getting my book by the way. I’ll have more to say about that later.
