Jesus, Jesus Take Us In

We are headed North to see my Dad one last time before he dies.

My friend Jeff recommended The Avett Brothers to me a while back.

For some reason I decided to purchase their most recent album for this trip, having never listened to it before.

This morning I started listening as we were packing.

I almost did not make it through the first song.

But God knew I needed it.

Dad and I have had a hard time saying “I love you.”

Pray that we get one last chance before Jesus takes Him in.
