I was hiking and came to the top of this hill where it opened up like a bluff or something... I was right at the top of the trees. I stopped, turned around... and this big hawk was looking me right in the eye... he was only like 20ft away or something. Then he screeched (just like on silverhawks) looked at me for another minute and then took off. It was wild... really spiritual too. I had a similar experience about a year ago.
