Forever Dad
Man of the Hour
Tidal waves don’t beg forgiveness
Crash then on their way
Father he enjoyed collisions
Others walked away
A snowflake falls in May
And the doors are open now
As the bells are ringing out
‘Cause the man of the hour has taken
His final bow
Goodbye for now.
Nature has its own religion
Gospel from the land
Father ruled by long division
Young men they pretend
Old men comprehend.
And the sky breaks at dawn
Shedding light upon this town
They’ll all come ’round
‘Cause the man of the hour has taken
His final bow
Goodbye for now.
And the road
The old man paved
The broken seams along the way
The rusted signs left just for me
He was guiding me
Loved his own way
Now the man of the hour has taken his final bow
As the curtain comes down
I feel that this is just
Goodbye for now.
Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die.” …The man who had died came out, his hands and feet bound with linen strips, and his face wrapped with a cloth. Jesus said to them, “Unbind him, and let him go.” – John 11

Thanks Tim for letting us all touch today and of all days, Father’s Day! What a precious gift. Thank you with all my love, Mom
Very poignant, and full of great memories. Heaven is closer everyday, and is the true reality. Thanks, Tim
What a tribute, Tim. As a friend, I miss your Dad so much. As a son whose Dad has gone on ahead, I do know what you feel like. Your Dad preached for me the last time he could, when I was at my Dad’s death bed. God gave him the grace and power to do that for me.
